Our motivation
We are a group of people from all over Germany who can no longer stand by and watch as innocent people in Gaza suffer violence, hunger and destruction. We have different professions, different opinions, different life situations and live in different bubbles.
Our family histories have shaped us in different ways. Some of us were born in Germany, some have migrated, others have had to flee war themselves. Some of us have been active in this issue for a long time, while others have focused on other issues, felt uncertain or were unsure how to get involved effectively.
We are now all coming together on this issue.
Because we feel it is our duty to raise our voices!
Out of compassion, out of historical awareness and out of responsibility for the values that have shaped Europe since the Second World War: human rights, protection of the civilian population and respect for international law.
We want to make the suffering visible, turn numbers back into names and stories, and reclaim the public space for respectful, productive dialogue. Silence means consent – that's why we're taking to the streets.
We can no longer stand by and watch. Join us.
Don't look away.
Europe for international law.
